Sumitori is a fellow classmate of Ouri along with Hiroshige, Mizuki and Nozomi from a Ikai High School. He tends to be very innocent and oblivious to the world of Shikabane. In the anime adaptation, He is also an avid practitioner of kendo and a former friend of Mitsuyoshi, who had became a Shikabane.
