OverviewShikabane Hime (屍姫 Corpse Princess) is a horror manga series written and illustrated by Yoshiichi Akahito. It is published by Square Enix and serialized in the Monthly Shōnen Gangan on April 12, 2005. As of November 2014, twenty-three volumes have been released in Japan. After being brutally murdered along with her family, Makina Hoshimura turns into a Shikabane Hime, a living corpse contracted to the Kōgon Sect, in order to exert revenge against the Shichisei who were responsible for her death.
