Ouri Kagami(花神旺里) - A normal high school boy who was raised at the Dai-Rin House, which was behind Keisei's Sekku Temple. He treats Keisei as his older brother even though they're not blood-related. Ouri is able to encounter the Shikabanes because of a mysterious black cat who randomly appear to talk to him. After his second encounter with the cat, Ouri knew he had to follow it, eventually leading him to the corpses. He has also been nicknamed by the children at the temple "Hanagami". After Keisei's death, he became Makina's new contracted monk. In the anime, it is strongly implied that he's in love with Makina. It is later revealed that Ouri's mother was once a Shikabane, who had killed a number of children. One of her victims was Hizuchi from the Seven Stars.
